There are also numerous sandy beaches in the area such as Mar De Cristal and Playa Honda on the Mar Menor, the unspoilt Calblanque along the Mediterranean coast between the Club and Cabo De Palos and many miles of beaches along the shores of La Manga Strip and the Mar Menor.

The Mar Menor beaches are particularly popular with families with young children, because the warm, shallow water offers bathing fun for all ages.
